The following points should be noted when storing facial care products

‌Temperature control‌: Facial care products are best stored at a temperature of 5℃ to 25℃. Too high a temperature will accelerate the deterioration of ingredients, and too low a temperature will easily freeze and crack. Avoid placing products in high or low temperature environments such as near electrical appliances, windows, balconies or in cars.

‌Store away from light‌: Direct sunlight or light will cause the moisture in skin care products to evaporate, produce chemical reactions, and lose their effectiveness. Ultraviolet rays will also oxidize the ingredients and lose their vitality. Therefore, the products should be stored in a cool, dark place.

‌Moisture-proof and anti-fouling‌: A humid environment is prone to breeding bacteria, causing skin care products to mold. Keeping the product dry and hygienic is the key.

‌Classification storage‌: Different types of skin care products have different storage requirements. For example, cleaning products such as facial cleansers and skin cleansers can be placed in a cool and dark place; skin care products such as day creams, night creams, facial masks, essences, etc. are also suitable for being placed in a cool and dark place; lotions can be put back into the original packaging box and refrigerated; creams can be stored in a cool place after wiping the bottle mouth and bottle cap with 75% alcohol; makeup also needs to be wiped with alcohol before collection.

‌Storage in the refrigerator‌: Although the refrigerator can extend the service life of some skin care products, not all skin care products are suitable for being placed in the refrigerator. In particular, oily skin care products such as makeup remover oil, essential oils, creams, etc. should not be placed in the refrigerator. Opened skin care products should not be placed in the refrigerator because they are easily contaminated and infected with bacteria.

‌Regular inspection‌: Regularly check the shelf life and storage status of skin care products, and replace expired or deteriorated products in time to ensure safe and effective use.
