How To Store Facial Care Products
Nov 08, 2024
When storing facial care products, you need to pay attention to the following points:
Temperature control: Most skin care products can be stored at room temperature, but avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures. The appropriate storage temperature is below 35°C. High temperatures will cause the moisture in the cosmetics to evaporate, resulting in oil-water separation and even deterioration. For opened skin care products, they can be stored in the refrigerator. Low temperatures can inhibit the growth of bacteria and microorganisms and extend the shelf life.
Humidity control: Skin care products should be stored in a dry place and avoid humid environments. Humidity can cause mold growth and affect the quality and safety of the product.
Avoid contamination: Wash your hands before each use to avoid direct contact with the product. Use tools such as conditioning sticks or spoons to take the product, avoid sharing cosmetics with others, and clean tools such as makeup brushes regularly to prevent contamination.
Sub-packaging: Divide large packages of cosmetics into small packages, so that they can be used up faster, reduce the chance of product contact with air, and reduce the possibility of deterioration.
Lock the bottle cap after opening: Lock the bottle cap after use to prevent bacteria, moisture and dust in the air from entering the product.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing: Facial masks and other skin care products should not be repeatedly frozen and thawed, as this will accelerate deterioration.
